Write obituary or letters to survivors:
The need to reach out to loved ones or friends before death occurs offers peace and closure and can be done through letters, phone calls, and video calls.
Oftentimes, families aren’t sure of what to put in the obituary, how to write it, or submit it to newspapers, organizations, or online, this is also something I offer.
Coordination of needs and wishes:
Having your legal affairs in order can help protect your assets and make sure that your wishes are carried out. I have a network of professionals (attorneys, financial advisors, etc.)that can guide you.
I am also able to share your wishes with your family so that they understand what you want. It is also important to let your family grieve in their own way and honor you if they wish.
A Death Doula, also known as an End-of-Life Doula, is a trained professional who offers persons who are approaching the end of their lives and their families emotional, spiritual, and practical support. They serve as sympathetic companions, providing non-medical support and direction during this life-changing period. Death Doulas recognize each person's distinct journey and give them the power to choose their end-of-life preferences.
